Div Com reviews arrangements for inauguration of Expanded Terminal Building at Jammu Airport | KNO

Divisional Commissioner Jammu Dr M K Bhandari today held a meeting with senior officers of police and civil administration to take stock of arrangements for the inauguration of expanded Terminal Building at Jammu Airport.

Divisional Commissioner informed that the Jammu Airport is set to offer a world-class experience to passengers with an expanded and modernised terminal and the inauguration of the same will be held on 17th August, 2017.

 M K Bhandari also discussed arrangements pertaining to security,  traffic management plan including alternate traffic routes and other logistic arrangements. All the officers of Civil and police administration have been directed to maintain highest level of coordination.

Earlier, the officers from Airports Authority of Jammu briefed the Divisional Commissioner about the present status of arrangements being made by them.

The meeting was attended by IGP Jammu Zone Dr. S. D. Singh, SSP Jammu Sunil Gupta, SSP AHJ Rajinder Kumar Gupta, ADC Jammu Arun Manhas, Director Health Dr. Gurjeet Singh, Joint Director Information Jammu Manisha Sarin, besides functionaries from Airport Authority of India and senior officers of concerned departments.
